With the last name of Bair (pronounced like the animal in case you are unfortunate enough to not know me) there is lots of name related humor. Example: I'm smarter than your average bear. Its something that I think people should take advantage of more than they do because my name is awesome! And there are so many opportunities to make a situation funny with my last name. Or even just an abundant source of nicknames, especially for back in the days when I played lacrosse.
My first name also has some excellent possibilities for nicknames. As a child I was called Stevie, but in Kindergarten I decided to go by Stephanie. And ever since then I have been called Stephanie. I know that names are supposed to be constant forever, but sometimes I want variety in my life. Those are the times when I wish that I went by Stevie, but it is a little late to suddenly go by a different name. Gradually. :)
