My dad is on a business trip to Peru. While he is away, we decided that it would be brilliant to pull out the disgusting carpet in our family room. So we did moved all the furniture out and removed the carpet, but then we obviously couldn't just leave the floor without carpet or anything on it. So we decided to paint the cement floor. But while we had all the furniture out of the room, it only made sense to paint the walls too. Then we could have more color options, and the room would have a fresh look and whatnot. And since we were going with new colors and the furniture was already moved out, I guess that means that we might as well rearrange the furniture when we put it back. Right? And now that the furniture is rearranged and there are different colors on the floor and walls, we probably need to get new curtains, a new rug, and who knows what else from IKEA.
Hopefully we finish before my dad comes home. He doesn't know what we are up to... :)
